Description
White Widow is a multiple cannabis award winner which requires little introduction. This strain dominated the cannabis market for the whole of the 90s thanks to its amazingly strong stone which lingers for hours. Originally a southern Indian indica crossed with a Brazilian sativa, White Widow is easy to grow, blooms in 9 weeks, and yields approximately 400 g/m2.
Details
The original – and classic - White Widow was created with a pure Sativa landrace from Brazil which was pollinated by an Indica hybrid from southern India. This Indica hybrid, according to legend, was the result of years of selecting and breeding in order to produce highly resinous marijuana plants.
Royal Queen Seeds White Widow feminised cannabis seeds produce plant which can grow to about 1 metre tall indoors, and 2 metres in height outside. These beauties need lots of sun but can be grown in colder climates as well, although they will generally perform better in warmer climates. Grown inside, they can yield 400 g/m2 under a 600W light. Outdoors, they can produce over 100 g/plant.
When smoked, these rippers have sativa-dominant qualities, and give the smoker a stellar, psychedelic high. The taste is clean and pine-fresh, with afternotes of subtle citrus on the exhale. Overall, this combination of cerebral head-high with a clean, fresh taste works to make this one of the breeder’s best-loved classic strains.
